The land was registered in the land office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as early as 1834 and became part of the family estates.
	This land was purchased in 1966 to establish a Shrine of reconciliation in the area of Southeastern Wisconsin.


The Shrine has been transformed over the years; the farm buildings now serve as the chapel, religious publication office, meeting and dinning hall and other buildings which house support services for the Shrine.



In 1980, the Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette was completed and was dedicated by Bishop Richard Sklba. The outdoor Shrine is a replica of the site of the apparition in France and has seating for outdoor liturgies.
		Young, Old or Ethnic groups are encouraged to reserve a day for a group pilgrimage or for a day of recollection.

		Not far from the shrine of Our Lady of La Salette are other shrines.

Shrines that are commemorating apparitions of the Mother of God invite us to ponder the messages she gave to the visionaries.

One of the first iron statues cast representing Our Lady of La Salette from the description of the visionaries of La Salette.		The Shrine Chapel has seating capacity of 120 people.

The meeting and dinning hall can seat 150 people.		Attached to the hall is the shrine kitchen.

Two small farm houses on the grounds serve as residence of the La Salette Missionaries.


	With the help of Our Blessed Mother, and friends such as yourselves, the work of bringing the words of her Divine Son will continue to bring hope, healing and reconciliation in the years to come.
